A special project is coming to the next edition of the Granfondo Torino by the Italian Red Cross.
Some volunteer cyclists will be real sentinels along the entire route on bikes equipped with specific clothing and first aid kits and in close contact with the organization and the Red Cross units of the Turin committee. An agile, fast and innovative way to monitor the race and further implement all the medical devices already present. The Red Cross by bike project arrives for the first time on the Piedmontese roads.
«We will take part in the route – explains Giancarlo Perazzi, National Referrer for the Red Cross by bike – starting together and then spreading out along the route ready to intervene in case of need and unforeseen events.
