The Granfondo Torino 2026 is preparing for a new edition marked by passion and participation, confirming its position as the only mass cycling event in Italy to take place entirely within a metropolitan city. For the GS Alpi, the organizing committee, this is the second major event of the season, following the success of the Granfondo Laigueglia, held at the end of February and attracting an impressive number of enthusiasts.
Attention now turns to Turin, where an equally large number of participants is expected.
The event’s headquarters will be the Turin Motovelodromo, the beating heart of the weekend, while the finish line is confirmed in Pino Torinese, in the Pennone area, at the end of a 113 km route with 1,900 meters of elevation gain.
A weekend of sport, memory, and tradition
The Granfondo Torino 2026 weekend will kick off on Saturday with a moment of great symbolic value. At 4:00 PM, at the Sanctuary of Superga, GS Alpi President Vittorio Mevio will lay a laurel wreath in memory of the fallen of the Grande Torino, renewing a gesture that unites sporting memory and civic identity.
During the day, the Motovelodromo will also host the distribution of race packs and the verification of membership cards, welcoming athletes and fans arriving from all over Italy.
Sunday will be dedicated to the race itself. The grids will open at 7:00 AM, while the official start is set for 8:30 AM from Corso Casale, next to the Motovelodromo. The finish line, after a challenging and scenic route, will be located on Strada dei Colli, in Pino Torinese.
