The Granfondo Internazionale Briko Torino – Memorial Luca Ferrero is fast approaching: the appointment, for all two-wheel enthusiasts, is on 11 May at the Motovelodromo in Turin, where the race will celebrate its tenth anniversary. Organised by GS Alpi, the Granfondo Internazionale Briko Torino represents a unique combination of sport, culture and tradition, offering participants the opportunity to pedal through the heart of Italy’s first capital city, passing through places that are symbolic of national history. An event that, year after year, has been able to combine the excitement of the cycling challenge with the timeless charm of the city of Turin, becoming, to date, the only mass cycling event that takes place within a large city.

Once again this year, the support of Briko, the event’s main sponsor, is very important. Paolo Pistono, on behalf of the company, expressed great satisfaction for this partnership with the Gs Alpi: “Once again this year we are proud to be a partner of this extraordinary event, which is celebrating a special edition: the tenth anniversary of the race and the fortieth year of Briko. For the occasion, we wanted to create a race jersey of excellence, involving fans who, as always, responded with great enthusiasm and participation. This link with the cycling community represents a fundamental value for us and further confirmation of our commitment to the sport”.
Briko has really thought of everyone: the medal for all finishers of the Granfondo Internazionale Briko Torino – Memorial Luca Ferrero will be made by Briko from recycled material, thus recalling a circularity of materials in an increasingly green global perspective.

A solidarity race from the grid of honour
Granfondo Torino, this year, wants to be above all a race of solidarity. This year, the event welcomes with particular emotion the first edition of the “Luca Ferrero Memorial”, dedicated to a great cycling enthusiast and respected veterinarian, who tragically passed away last year during a cycling training session.
In his memory, a special solidarity registration fee has been activated. All those who choose the “Memorial Luca Ferrero” rate will contribute a donation in favour of the Cottolengo – Piccola Casa della Divina Provvidenza, and will be entitled to start from the grid of honour, positioned in front of the first grid, in recognition of their gesture.
Entry fees are available at:
